I did not hear of Kellie's death until long after the event, but I own every Star Trek performance she ever did, and I enjoy them again and again. I especially loved her performance in the ST:Voyager episode "Muse".
In a very short life, she made a very big difference, and I hope her work will be remembered and admired forever!

Like many, I learned of Kellie Waymire's passing years afterwards, like, today. Oct. 1, 2010. I wondered why I had not seen her in anything recently. I was shocked to see she passed so young when I checked IMDB. I will remember her versatility, talent, and beauty.

I just wanted to pass on my condolences to Kellie's family. I was on startrek.com and saw her interviews. I remember about hearing of her passing years ago and was struck that how such a wonder actress could end so brightly. She was great on Enterprise, which is where I first saw her. Even though it has been 7 years, I am sure her family misses her alot and the fans as well. Maybe we will see each other somewhere.

So sad, i was just watching an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise and thought i'd see who the wonderful actress was, wanting to find more recent things she'd been in. I ended up on Kellie's wiki page only to find she'd sadly passed away, and so young.

My condolences to the family, you at least have the knowledge that her work will be seen by millions for many years to come. I hope the years have lessened the pain somewhat and you can now see the legacy she left for all of us.

I was watching one of my favorite Voyager episodes "Muse" and final found the time to look her up only to discover with great sadness she was gone. Kellie.... you'll live forever now, just look how many people you still touch all these years after you've left this earth. I hope you'll know that, where ever you are. ORL

I had just flipped on SyFy and am watching a Wolf Lake marathon when I saw Kelly on it as Miranda. In the past few days, SPIKE repeated an episode of CSI where she was on it as a murderous mom. Every time I see her I get very sad, because she was a very, very good sctress whom I first noticed in her hilarious role as "Penelope Poppins", the psycho British nanny on Glee's Ryan Murphy's first high school show, POPular. I will always remember her, and I hope her friends and family are doing well. RIP, Miss Waymire. The best always seem to go too soon.

I just looked at the latest page and the first page--
I had the privilege of acting opposite her and directing her.
I was doing a search online and came across an image of Kellie that led me back here.
It's still hard to believe.
Gary--hope you are well.

I just watched the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Muse" recorded from a repeat on the UK's Virgin1 channel & wanted to know who the wonderful actress was that played Lanya, as she looked familiar.
I 'Googled' her name & found that i remembered seeing Kellie on Star Trek: Enterprise as well as an Everwood episode & very much enjoyed her acting in those shows, only to be shocked & saddened to find out about her untimely passing at such a young age.
So i offer my very belated, heartfelt condolences to her family & friends, i'm sure she is in your hearts & minds as she is in all that have had the pleasure of seeing her, whether in person or as most of us have, on our tv's, movie screens & theatres.

Rest In Peace Kellie.
You will never be forgotten & always cherished. (esp by us Star Trek fans)

Oh Kellie. Was scanning through the channels tonight and saw Wolf Lake on Sci Fi. And there you were. Not a word spoken, all in your eyes. That breath taking ability to say more in expression than most any other actor ever said in words.

I still miss you so, wonderful friend. Don't even know why I am writing it here, except I hope your family and Gary see all the kind words and still take comfort. How much comfort could there be for such a loss. But some comfort that six and a half years later your work, which you shared with so much passion and commitment and absolute joy, survives you and let's us know that you will always still be here in our hearts.

I will always miss you and never get over the abrupt cruelty of your passing. Dear dear girl, my how you will always be missed.

I was just watching some Enterprise episodes that I TiVo'd on HDNET and saw Kellie on them again. This was such a tragic event for her family and fans, and we still miss her. I would love to have seen Crewman Cutler grow more as a character, as well as Kellie as an actor.

Rest in Peace Kellie and know that you are missed!

I watched an episode of "seinfeld" last night and saw a very beautiful and enchanting woman. When she first appeared on the screen I was instantly enthralled by her. I discovered her name and wondered what other tv shows, movies, etc. she has appeared. Found her website and was shocked and saddened to learn she died a few years ago. She was too young. Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting her or having been very familiar with her work in the arts, I know the world lost a very special and very much loved young lady.

I'm so sorry to hear of Kelly's passing.I'm sorry to say i just learned of this in dec 2009. what a talent and she seem to me to be enjoying herself in startrek enterprize. She will be missed. She truely was someone i would have liked to have known. i believe actors show to some degree on screen, who they are in real life. kelly to me must have been a great lady in real life.
AGAIN,i'm so sorry to hear this. this is a tough time of the year for those who have lost someone. my father passed in 1999 and still to this day ,its tough.
to the waymire family my condolences and my heart go out to you all. there are many people besides family that will not forget her. take care

I was watching the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Muse," and I said "hey, that's the girl who plays Cutler on Enterprise." So I looked up the episode info on Wikipedia, and found out her name... and I saw that she had passed away! I was really shocked and saddened... she was such a young girl!

I know she died back in 2003, but I hope someone still monitors this website... Kellie was a very talented individual, and I would like her family to know that I said a prayer for them, and Kellie. I'm sure God is watching over her.

Warmest Regards,

Josh Justin

I was watching Enterprise, Strange New World and as usual thought Kellie was incredibly cute. After looking up her name and bio on the internet, I got the sad news of her passing. It depressed me, but as I read another guest-book signer's remark that she will live on forever through star trek, I agree. She brings a smile to my face every time she's on screen in Enterprise.

Kellie Waymire was a beautiful girl who's portrayal of her characters, albeit in most cases not lead characters, grabbed the attention of all those who watched. I see myself following the actions of so many on this page, seeing her in an episode, seeing how much she stands out, her beauty and her realism cause us all to ask "who is that girl? Why have we not seen any more of her on screen?"

So we search, and find out the tragic truth as to why. I knew I had seen her in previous shows when I watched the first episode of Enterprise that featured her character, then the "dear doctor" episode that has obviously caught so much attention. I feel a loss at her passing even though i have only seen her so briefly on screen.

I remember her portrayal of the Borg Queen in the Voyager episode "Muse" as she played the character of the jealous love interest so well... Her characters were poignant and rememberable. My condolences for all those who have experienced her loss.

I never knew Kellie had died until now... I missed her being on Enterprise and never realized why she was gone. I also never realized she did the Voyager episode "Muse". She was fantastic in that. I loved both of her Star Trek roles, she brought a lot of warmth to Enterprise in the episodes she was in.

Thanks, Kellie. You were a shining star.

I pulled Wonderfalls off the shelf a few days ago and was happy to see Kellie in episode nine. I remember her from Star Trek and she stood out with the great cast on Wonderfalls. It was a wonderfull surprise to watch such a fine actor that could make a role her own.

I just recently learned Kelly passed away. I found her in Star Trek Enterprise. She had the rare quality of "lighting up the screen" with her acting and beautiful smile. My condolences, I enjoyed everything I've seen her in.

Kellie was a friend of my husband's from school. I met her through a theater company we both worked at, and got to know her. She was a kind, down-to-earth, and incredibly talented woman. She is missed, and not forgotten.
